Globular Regular is a typeface inspired by the subtle and organic trajectory of liquid forms pulled by gravity. Initially inspired by foams and trails left behind from cleaning products—how the idiosyncratic streaks of white seem to have a mind of their own—to the ubiquitous sightings of dried trails of graffiti and the history of gravity’s grasp on the paint.
The structure of the characters mimic the contrasting thickness of lines that represent obscure boundaries between liquid and gas. The weight of the glyphs are emphasized by the instinctual assumptions of gravity, seemingly dragging the bulbous forms in an organically fluid dynamic.
The type specimen for this typeface is a frosted pane of glass, a reference to the inspiration of liquid forms and cleaning products.
